Birth to Three Program
About Early Intervention
Early intervention services are designed to enable children ages birth to 3 with developmental delays or disabilities to be active and successful during the early childhood years and in the future in a variety of settings—in their homes, in child care, in preschool or school programs, and in their communities.
The Referral Process
Once a referral is received by our Early Intervention team, a Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) will contact the family within 3 days of receiving the referral in order to gather more information and to assist the family with completing a developmental screening. The screening is used to determine and discuss further evaluation and whether the child could benefit from early intervention services.
Parental concerns and ideas are primary to the program development and implementation. Our team will work in partnership with parents to design and implement a program that is individual to each child and family needs.
