Educational Service District 123

The ESD 123’s Regional Public Health Coordinator works in partnership with the Washington Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD) Network, the Department of Health (DOH), the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and other statewide partners to support and inform school districts on the considerations for statewide and regional prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives for COVID-19, other emerging infections, and conditions of public health significance. As a networking partner, we work closely with Local Health Jurisdictions, the School Nurse Corps, and Regional School Safety Centers. 

What We Have to Offer:

• Facilitate partnerships with school districts and regional public health partners
• COVID-19 Response and Recovery support for school districts (screening, testing, resources, programs, contact tracing, best practices)
• Support with post-pandemic planning, response, and recovery activities, including prevention and mitigation strategies
• Connect districts and schools to resources and best practices models
• Function as a regional conveyor of public health information and feedback
