Teachers: Time to Register for Farm Fair

Attention all 5th grade teachers!!

FarmFairSouth Eastern Washington 5th grade teachers are encouraged to register their classrooms for the 17th Annual Farm Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23rd and 24th at the Benton County Fair Grounds in Kennewick.

Farm Fair is an educational opportunity provided for the purpose of exposing children to the importance of agriculture through exhibits and presentations. Students learn about:
  •   Ag vocational programs and careers
  •   Commodities grown in Washington State
  •   Animal wellness and management
  •   Farm ecosystems and how they relate to the environment
  •   How chemicals are used in crop production
  •  The role that technology plays in agriculture

Alternative Routes to Teacher Certification

Do you have a dream of becoming a teacher? ESD 123 and our Alternative Routes to Teacher Preparation Program offers an opportunity for individuals to acquire teaching credentials who already have a 4-year degree and 1 year work experience.

altThis consortia is a scholarship/loan program that provides the ability for individuals to obtain a teaching certificate in approximately one year after completing course study and a full-time classroom internship. Please review the attached program forms:
