- The Great Washington Shake Out - This is a state-wide drill held annually. This year it will be held October 16, 2025. All are encouraged to participate. It counts as a ‘Shelter in Place’ drill for schools.
- The Path To Violence (PBS) - Psychologists, working with law enforcement officers, have devised tools to help prevent violent attacks. "The Path To Violence" details a powerfully effective Secret Service program, the Safe Schools Initiative, that has helped schools detect problem behaviors.

- Mental, Social, & Behavioral Health through OSPI - OSPI provides resources and programs that are beneficial in maintaining a student's mental, social and behavioral health.
- DOH Behavioral Health Toolbox provides tips on how to navigate some of the emotional responses that families may experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. Educators can use this information to help children, teens, and families recover from disasters and grow stronger.
- Digital Wellness Program focuses on positively impacting the emotional well-being of teens and promoting mental health. Includes free curriculum, resources, and implementation tools to make an impact as a student mental health advocate, educator, or parent.
- Findhelp.org - Find and connect to direct services such as behavioral health care agencies and supports. Also includes resources for food assistance, paying bills, and other free or reduced cost programs.
Resources for School Websites - Requirement of SHB 1373
SHB 1373 requires every public school to publish behavioral health resources on their website. ESD 123 has compiled the list of national and state resources below for schools to add to their websites and utilize as needed.
