Occasionally we need to ask ESD staff (anyone working on the Court St. Pasco campus) to help cover the front desk. Below are the directions and expectations ESD staff will follow for covering the front desk.
Directions & Expectations for Coverage:
- Members of the Support Professionals Network will sign up to serve as a Monthly Sponsor (or back up) to help coordinate the front desk coverage as needed.
- The Customer Service Specialist requesting coverage will email the Monthly Sponsor with the date(s) and time(s) coverage is needed. (Notification requesting coverage must be given by the Customer Service Specialist a minimum of 3 business days in advance of the requested leave date.)
- In response to the notification, the Monthly Sponsor has two options:
- Cover the front desk during the day/time needed; and/or,
- Send an email to internal personnel to find coverage.
- If requesting internal personnel to cover, the Monthly Sponsor will email a link to this Front Desk Coverage Request Document to [email protected] to request staff sign-ups for coverage.
- The Monthly Sponsor will review the sign-up sheet to make sure each requested time slot has been filled, including back-up persons.
- Once the day/time slots have been filled, the Monthly Sponsor will send the completed sign-up form to the requesting Customer Service Specialist.
- The requesting Customer Service Specialist will send calendar invitations to the individuals who signed up using Outlook Calendar.
- The Monthly Sponsor is responsible for following this process and repeating the above steps for each request during their designated month.
