Today we are excited to share that two more ESD 123 ECEAP sites have completed the quality recognition cycle for Early Achiever's and have earned a level 5 in quality recognition. Congratulations to the ECEAP teams in Othello and the Pasco Early Learning Center for joining the Columbia-Burbank team in this incredible recognition.
The Early Achievers Quality Standards outline a set of best practices designed to recognize, support, and enhance the quality of early learning environments, ultimately improving outcomes for children. These standards are used to determine the quality levels of early learning facilities.
The five key areas of focus are:
- Learning Environment
- Child Outcomes
- Interactions and Curriculum
- Family Engagement and Partnerships
- Professional Development and Training
The Early Achievers Quality Levels are valid for three years from the finalization date. During this time, our early learning programs are expected to maintain active participation, engaging in continuous quality improvement activities and submitting quality recognition components throughout the three-year cycle.
