ESD 123 Seeking Candidates for Board Vacancy
The Educational Service District 123 Board of Directors is now seeking applications to fill its Director District 1 vacancy. The individual appointed by the Board will serve until a successor is elected and qualified at the next regularly scheduled Educational Service District Board election in Fall 2027. The person elected at that time will serve the remainder of the current term, which expires in January 2030.

Applicants cannot be current school district board members or employees, and must reside within the boundaries of and be a registered voter in District 1. Director District No. 1 includes the following school districts and counties: Asotin-Anatone and Clarkston (Asotin County), Dayton and Starbuck (Columbia County), Kahlotus (Franklin County), Othello (Adams County), and Pomeroy (Garfield County). Duties of the position include attending and participating in Board discussions and decision-making, establishing and approving agency policies and budgets, and communicating with school district and other agency partners and legislators.
