WAAS Portfolio Assessment Trainings
A four-part training that includes (1) an overview of the WAAS portfolio manual and grade level expectation (GLE) extensions and targets, (2) content area evidence collection and support for teachers of pre-symbolic learners, (3) a follow-up work session and portfolio check, and (4) a portfolio wrap-up.
High School Transition Training
Led by Seattle University's Center for Change in Transition Services, this training helps teachers, staff and administrators conduct a self-review of their individualized education programs (IEPs) and develop comprehensive IEPs using the six required transition components.

The ESD presents training designed to assist Special Education teachers in connecting the present levels of performance to the IEP goals.

CPI's Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program teaches staff to respond effectively to the warning signs that someone is beginning to lose control, and also addresses how staff can deal with their own stress, anxieties, and emotions when confronted with these challenging situations.
