Prevention Center staff are dedicated to helping school communities establish and maintain supportive learning environments..

Overall Purpose
Establish a comprehensive, integrated model of services that fosters safe school environments, promotes healthy childhood development and prevents violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse. We strive to provide leadership through service and resources to enhance and develop safe and supportive learning environments for our school communities. The center integrates a variety of funding sources to assist schools with implementing comprehensive services that support removing barriers to learning.

The following are services provided:
*Washington State Substance Abuse Prevention/ Intervention  Program
*School Based Substance Abuse Treatment  - Chemically Involved
*Educational Advocate Services for Detention Youth
*Middle School Educational Advocate Services for Middle School Youth - Targeted Sites
*Elementary School Counseling Grant - Walla Walla School District
*Tobacco Prevention and Cessation
*Crisis Counseling - Responding to School Crisis
