Board of Directors

Brad Gingerich

Director District #1 - Brad Gingerich, AESD Legislative Rep.

Representing Asotin-Anatone, Clarkston, Pomeroy and Dayton School Districts

Brad Gingerich is a pharmacist and co-owner of Pomeroy Pharmacy. He graduated from Pomeroy High School and went on to WSU and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. Brad has been married for 30 years and has three children. Brad is only one of two Board members in the state of Washington to serve two separate terms as President of the State Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD).


Sheryl Byerley

Director District #2 - Sheryl Byerley, Vice Chair

Representing Prescott, Starbuck, Kahlotus, Star, Waitsburg, College Place, Dixie and the following precincts of Walla Walla School District No. 140: Pine, Alder, Henderson, Marcus, Jefferson, Frenchtown, Gose and Baker

Sheryl Byerley is a homemaker and part owner and secretary/treasurer of Clearview Farms, Inc. She graduated from Watisburg High School and went on to gain an AA in business administration. Sheryl is the former President of Junior Club of Walla Walla. She is married and has four children and five grandchildren.


Dale Newby

Director District #3 - Dale Newby, Chairman

Representing the following precincts in Walla Walla School District No. 140: Pleasant, Sharpstein, Clark, Birch, Paine, Baumeister, Monroe, Abbott, Berney, Maple, Moore, Lewis, College, Green Park, Stadium, Garfield, Isaacs, Watertown, Ash, Spruce, Edison and Alderbrook.

Dale Newby owns his own business as an insurance agent. He received his BA and MA from Central Washington University where he majored in music and music administration. He taught music and was a junior high school principal for the Walla Walla Public Schools. He retired from his education career in 1982. Dale has served as an officer or board member for several state educational organizations. Dale and his wife Merle have been married for 53 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren.


Anna Rea

Director District #4 - Anna Rea

Representing Touchet, Columbia, Othello and the following precincts in Pasco No. 1: 7, 14, 2, 6, 5, 13, 8, 15, 25, 9, 3, 17, 1, 10, 63, 48, 49. The following precincts in Walla Walla School District No. 140: Twin Grove, Braden, Deery, Blalock, Stone, Garrison, Ritz, Wainwright, Mill Creek and Prospect Point

Anna Rea is an educator, homemaker, and a partner in the family wheat farming business. She graduated from California State Polytechnical University with a B.S. degree. Anna is married and has two children.


Paul Whiltemarsh

Director District #5 - Paul Whitemarsh, Past Chairman

Representing North Franklin No. 51-162 and the following precincts in Pasco No. 1: 12, 16, 27, 22, 23, 29, 4, 24, 30, 33, 26, 31, 11, 53, 54, 41, 45, 55, 56, 32, 58, 60, 44, 40, 61, 62, 66

Paul Whitemarsh has worked for the City of Pasco since 1971 as the Recreation Services Manager. He graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Education. He has served on various local and statewide boards and committees for public schools and leisure service issues. Paul has been married for 31 years and has four grown children.


Stephen Maciboba

Director District #6 - Stephen Maciboba

Representing the following precincts in Kennewick School District No. 17: Ward 1, all precincts; Ward II, all precincts; Ward III, precincts 515, 520, 525, 530, 535, 560, 565, 580, 585, 590

Stephen Maciboba is a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He graduated from Frostberg State University in Western Maryland with a BA in Accounting. Stephen has been married for 20 years and has two girls and a boy. He is a past Booster Club President and is a strong supporter of youth sports.


Beverly Abersfeller

Director District #7 - Beverly Abersfeller

Representing Finley, Paterson, Kiona-Benton City School Districts, and the following precincts in Kennewick School District No. 17: Cascade, Ely, Hart, Hawthorne, Highlands South, Kennewick Valley, Lee, Rainier, Umatilla, Kennewick South, Union, Vista, Washington, Cleveland, Yellowstone, Ayers, Oak, Jewel, Ellen, Randy, Carol. Ward III precincts: 500, 505, 510, 511. All other rural precincts in Kennewick School District No. 17 not included in DD. No. 6.

Beverly Abersfeller is the Ready! for Kindergarten Program Director, a mediator, volunteer and homemaker. She received her AA degree from Green River Community College. Bev has been married for 28 years and has four children. She is currently a board member on the Kennewick High School Instrumental Music Boosters, Kennewick Citizen’s Levy, and Board Committee.


Steve Landon

Representing the following precincts in Richland School District No. 400: 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 135, 140, 145, 155, 160, 165, 170, 175, 180, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205, 215, 220, 230, 235, 245, 250, 265, 270, 275, 295, 305, Enterprise, Clements and Columbia

Steve Landon is the owner of Reese Concrete Products, Mfg. Inc. He has been married for 30 years and has three children. Steve supports local youth soccer, baseball, dance/drill team, cheerleading squads, and the 4H & FFA market stock sale at the Benton-Franklin County Fair. He is also a member of Tridec and Tri-City Chamber of Commerce.


Lee Ann Dudney

Director District #9 - Lee Ann Dudney

Representing Prosser School District and the following precincts in Richland School District No. 400: 130, 150, 210, 225, 240, 255, 260, Harrington, West Richland and all other areas in precincts in Richland School District No. 400 not listed in DD. No. 8

Lee Ann Dudney is the Manager of Information Analytics at Battelle, where she has been employed since 1983. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Computer Science, and serves on the University’s Computer Science Department Advisory Board. She has previously served on various education, youth, and professional boards and committees. Lee Ann resides in West Richland with her husband Calvin and children Jake and Deidra.
