Professional Development for Arts-Related Teachers

 ESD 123's Teaching and Learning Department is pleased to be hosting FREE Professional Development for Arts-Related Teachers, titled Managing Classroom-Based Performance Assessments. These workshops are scheduled for November 17, 2009 in Walla Walla, WA and on December 8, 2009 at the ESD 123 in Pasco.
Justice
Workshop attendees will participate in selecting, implementing, analyzing and scoring classroom-based performance assessments (CBPA's). The CBPA's will individually measure what we want all students to know and be able to do at benchmark levels of grades 5, 8, and 10. 

The purpose of these workshops will be to provide participants an opportunity to learn how to:  
 
  • Select the CBPA that Works for You
  • Manage CBPA's  
  • Implementation in the Classroom
  • Rubric Assessment and much more...

CBPA Workshop Registration Form

ESD 123 will reimburse Blue Mountain Small Schools Consortium (BMSSC) for sub costs for up to two teachers per BMSSC district.

This training is funded through collaboration among: The Washington State Arts Commission: First Step Grant, Academy of Children's Theatre, Battelle, Baker Boyer Bank, Columbia Basin College, Heritage University, and Ted Brown Music.
