During the event, ESD 123 was surprised with the "Local Bridge Builder Award" for the agency's work in supporting and advancing STEM education across Southeast Washington.

Bob Wilkinson, president of MSA, presented the ESD's award.

"The ESD is our Foundation's home away from home," stated Mr. Wilkinson.  "[They] always roll out the red carpet for us, providing advice and support, meeting space and access to top educational leaders."

In addition, the ESD's 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Dream Builder's Educational Foundation, was also presented with the Local Bridge Builder's Award for their partnership with the STEM Like ME! grants to teachers program.

The celebratory breakfast included community leaders from across the area, all gathered to celebrate the continued advancement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in our region's schools. The ESD is honored and humbled by this incredible recognition.
