i-SAFE (Internet Safety)
i-SAFE is a training to students, school staff, parents and community
agencies on internet safety. Founded in 1998 and endorsed by the
U.S. Congress, i-SAFE America is a non-profit foundation dedicated
to protecting the online experiences of youth everywhere. i-SAFE
incorporates classroom curriculum with dynamic community outreach
to empower students, teachers, parents, law enforcement, and concerned
adults to make the Internet a safer place.
ESD 123 Prevention Center has i-SAFE trained staff to provide training
to all 23 school districts within the ESD 123 region. Staff is also
available to provide trainings to parents for school parent events
and community events.
