Apportionment
Within a fiscal year the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction
(OSPI) prepares this report that calculates state funding for each
district in Washington State. The report is prepared every month.
During the first four months of the fiscal year budget estimates are
used for the calculations, and than from January to August actual district
information is used. A final funding calculation is performed in January
of the following year using district year-end information.
