School Announcement Network

The School Announcement Network is a co-op available to districts. This co-op provides a method for disseminating school information and emergency messages to parents and the general public through the news media. This is a 24-hour-a-day password protected system for communicating messages through local radio and Television stations.

Benefits of the service include:

• Make one phone call and relay the message once.
• All stations will be contacted simultaneously.
• One password to remember.
• District personnel are not busy on the phone and can continue to evaluate situation in order to make further announcements.
• Reduces the risk of false announcements being broadcast.
